Darlene first became interested in the art of DJing in early 2005. Getting straight down-to-business -
sharpening her beat-matching, programming and track-selection. Two short years later, after
holding down a residence and aiding in promoting the successful and long-running "Extra Strength
Saturdays" @ Die Maschine... nowadays Miss SW@T plays many local & out of city / province
events and club-nights, whipping Canada's dance-floors into dripping masses... as well as
playing feature sets on Krisisdnb.com (Wednesdays and Thursdays 12-2am GMT)
ProtokolRadio.com "Basscase Airwaves" (Friday nights 9-11 EST) and special guest appearances
on Bassdrive.com show "Rinseout Radio" (Saturdays from 7-9 CST) Playing exclusive dub-plates
- Darlene feels quite secure in her place as one of the proud (and few) female DJs in Canada.
