In Brief:
"The story begins where most good stories begin these days...on the internet.

It was 2015 and everyone was losing their mind coz Diplo and Skrillex just dropped their Jack U album. While everyone was suddenly a Justin Bieber fan, the stand out feature for me was 'Beats Knockin' with Fly Boi Keno. I followed Keno on Instagram and with blind hope slid into his DMs with a New Orleans Bounce type beat. I was kinda shocked when he replied and said he was down to work with me! Anyone who has followed Diplo for a minute, would be familiar with the New Orleans Bounce sound. 'Express Yourself' featuring Nicky Da B was huge! I had always loved the energy of Bounce Music and I was stoked to be able to work with Keno and put my own twist on the sound.

Fast forward to February 2017 and I find myself on a 19 hour flight to New Orleans on a mission to shoot a music video for a song I hadn't even finished yet. Was I crazy... probably? But sometimes crazy pays off! It was a week before Mardi Gras and the city was buzzing. I'd worked a few contacts and found a videographer who was willing to try make this thing a reality. Not only did Sean understand the vision for the 'Hula Hoop' video, he also turned out to be an amazing guide to the city. We spent the next week shooting all over NOLA, stopping occasionally to check out hidden neighbourhood bars and feast on Po Boys.

There is so much more to the story but I think the video tells it best. New Orleans is an amazing city filled with amazing people and AMAZING MUSIC!" - Spenda C
