| "Hey babe... take a walk on the wild side." Listen to Uncle Lou kiddos and release your inner beast at TWINKLEDOME 20: Welcome to the Jungle on Fri. July 20th at Star Bar! Rockin' rhinos? Sure! Hipster hippos? Of course! Punk panthers? Bring it on! What's that you say? You don't have a gorilla suit hanging in your closet?! Well, just visit you friendly neighborhood costume shop (Costumes Etc. & Atlanta Costume are great places to start) and they will have simple animal accessories (ears, snouts, tails etc.) to turn you into the creature of your choice.
Then on the night of, visit the untamed ladies of Pin Up Girl Cosmetics (next to Little 5 Pizza) for free drinks until 9pm (new time) while you dig through their unique wares and ponder getting an expert glittering by their make-up artist... only $10 or it's free with a $25 purchase. FAB! Next, take the pack over to Star Bar where you can actually purchase merchandise from Junkman's Daughter AT the bar! You heard me... SHOP AT THE BAR! Look for the very tall and dapper Craig near the front door with the shopping cart with the wacky mannequin on it. Then hunt you down some glammed out accessories, fantastic wigs, boas, etc. to complete your look!
Oh yeah... the music! Come on and rock out (with your flock out?!) to the spinning styles of DJ Skippywill and DJaded. And Lust will definitely bring out the animal in you at 11pm when they ferociously take the stage!
Of course, you know there are birthdays to celebrate including BBQ Andy, Shag, Jonathan W, Miss Mary, Mark D, Jimmy C and Bryan of Star Bar. Don't feed the animals... just buy them shots!
