Everest's Infrared Thermometry System Identifies Exact Target Area Being Measured (U. S. Patent No. 7,355,178)

An age-old problem with conventional infrared thermometery is that of knowing exactly where the infrared sensor was taking a surface temperature measurement. Most conventional infrared thermometers have not been able to precisely align the infrared sensor on the target nor have they been able to identify the exact area being measured.
