An age-old problem with conventional infrared thermometery is that of knowing exactly where the infrared sensor was taking a surface temperature measurement. Most conventional infrared thermometers have not been able to precisely align the infrared sensor on the target nor have they been able to identify the exact area being measured. Everest's new infrared thermometry system has solved this problem and provides a way to know the exact location and dimensions of the target area. (PRWeb Apr 15, 2008)
