The VARIO-THERM sensors are new miniaturized infrared temperature sensor that include a patented automatic field-variable-focus feature and a through-the-lens visible light sighting system that verifies where a temperture measurement is being taken. The pulsating light used for the visual location of the target is a safe Light Emitting Diode instead of a potentially dangerous laser. Also, the VARIO-THERMs can neasure minute targets as they can be focused down to target spot sizes of one-half millimeter. (PRWeb Jun 5, 2008)
