| Charles Darwin's concept of natural selection has turned 150. On July 1st, 1858, Darwin presented his revolutionary idea, described by philosopher Daniel Dennett as "the single best idea that anyone has ever had," to a small group of scientists in London. Darwin's theory would radically change our understandings of the world in terms of science, religion, and philosophy, but at the time, his fellow scientists were unimpressed, go figure.
