SL:MIMA has been set up in January 2004 as an educational programme which aims to combine the efforts of those involved in multimedia teaching across Europe, enable networking opportunities for digital media professionals as well as facilitate co-operation between European universities. In addition, its focus is on promoting good practice in teaching and digital art creation with the emphasis on international co-operation, discovery and promotion of young talents from university environments across Europe.
