New single out 21 August 2006 The new Deprogram single is now out on CD. 'Waited So Long' is the second single from the upcoming Deprogram album, due out later in the year. The electrop track is pieced together from improvised vocals and a distorted bass groove. FBi Radio 94.5fm has just placed 'Waited So Long' on daily rotation. Out this week is the new Deprogram single, 'What's the Story?' The menacing, edgy mood of the track shows this electro act moving towards a more 'in-your-face' production style. After 3 years of studio hibernation, Deprogram is preparing to release a fourth album later in the year. This release is a taste of things to come, with three very different tracks to show where the act is heading. Two b-sides are included on the single - 'Out of Nowhere' and a remix of 'This is That', which was released on the latest Clan Analogue dub compilation, 'Inversions.'A bonus video showcases the architectural mashup style of Deprogram video artist, J D Young. The file can be viewed on any computer.

I totally agree that a lot of the video projections around are 'borrowed' non-original stuff like recycled manga cartoons and winamp visualisations. I'm from a Sydney-based electronic act that uses video projections as part of our live setup.
