Aluminium and Tin is a celebration of ten years for Hardware Gallery, an exhibition that unites the artists we have shown over the last ten years, current exhibiting artists and artists of the future for Hardware Gallery. 50 artists were invited to create an artwork based on the theme of Aluminium and Tin, the traditional substances used to celebrate the 10th wedding anniversary. Saturday 31st from 6-9pm we will be celebrating in style. Witness the results of 10 years of creative force at Hardware Gallery. Hardware Gallery presents a mammoth display of record covers, featuring unlikely combinations of Elvis Presley and Humphrey B. Bear, Kamahl and the Beastie Boys, alongside a diverse selection of electronic dance and techno. Hardware Gallery, located in Enmore, is officially launching The Record Room this June. The Record Room is part of a unique combination - a used vinyl record shop housed within a contemporary art space. The idea for The Record Room evolved through the challenge facing gallery owner Lew Palaitis of properly sorting a personal collection of over 10,000 records. This soon moved to setting up a dedicated retail space for selling used vinyl records. Th
