Rory has lived a life filled with music and inspiration. This just may be the reason he has changed his moniker several times. Breaking in to the Philadelphia electronic music scene as Dangermouse in the late '90s Rory attended or performed at nearly every party in the tri-state area (mostly attended). The bright lights of the city were blinding and the music started to get stale so it was on to greener pastures and a different vibe. In '02 Rory (now going by Tweek) joined forces with Dj Prime to start So So Ghetto, a production company focusing on trip-hop and other related genres. These two maniacs were relentless in their pursuit of clients and eventually found their artists playing with the likes of Naughty By Nature and Rob Bass. Seeking a more spiritually rewarding career, Rory moved "home" to the suburbs in early '03 to finish his first album "Carpe` Pm', and reconnect with old friends. As fate would have it Rory became close friends with Eg-Bot, a Dj-Producer with a similar craving for the dark, twisted and intelligent rhythms of Psy-Trance. Shortly after Rory now also known as Fractal Phono secured a few guest Dj spots at Philadelphia's premier Psy-Trance party Gaian Mind. It's been a few years and the Dj sets keep coming, so Rory decided to test his hand at crafting tunes of the psychedelic variety. Slowly but surely progress IS being made, but in his pursuit of perfection, Rory can never dig a finished track out of his catalogue. Somehow you have found your way to this page, and I can only hope you find something in the music here. Inspiration is usually found spur of the moment which can lend to more of an eclectic collection of songs. I hope the lack of direction does not scare you away, but instead, keep you wondering where I will go next!
