Vocalist, composer and actor Najma Akhtar has been at the forefront of the World Music and Jazz Fusion scene for the last two decades, playing at WOMAD, Reading, Glastonbury and touring widely in Europe, North America and Asia. Born in England, Najma has stayed rooted in the music of India, her ancestral home. In creating a beautiful fusion of eastern and western styles, Najma brings her own musical heritage into the spotlight while eliminating all musical boundaries.

Mozambican drummer and vocalist Deodato Siquir is recognised as one of his country's greatest musical talents. In his band Balano, Siquir grooves in a magic interaction with the energetic percussion, guitars, keyboard and saxophone for an electrifying performance full of pulsating rhythms, Jazz fusion and African beats.
