Come join the Boston Firefly Project for a night of art, poetry, and activism as we raise awareness around the issue of poverty worldwide. Local artists, poets, and writers will be presenting and displaying their work on Thursday, August 14th from 7-9pm at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy on 113 Brattle Street in Cambridge, a short walk from the Harvard Square T stop. For International Justice Day 2008, International Justice Anchors Jenn Walker and Corey Barr along with the Boston Firefly Project will be hosting a celebration on July 14th at the Democracy Center in Cambridge. This year's celebration will be looking at international justice and conflict, addressing the successes and areas for growth and improvement. We will be utilizing country examples to look at how the issue of justice has been addressed during and after conflict situations.
