April 24th's show featuring Dreadnaught, Earth, Se Bon Ki Ra (SA), Malignus and AKAName will not be held at the Ding Dong Lounge due to a booking error by the venue. The show has been moved to The Spanish Club at 59-61 Johnston St, Fitzroy on the same night. Entry is still $12 and tickets are available at the door on the night (no pre-sales). Dreadnaught are winding down their gigging schedule to concentrate on writing another LP which is shaping up to be heavier than any of their 6 previous releases and, so far, written entirely using 7 string guitar. Dreadnaught - CD Launch Melbourne w/ Argument Soul (Japan)
Dreadnaught will launch their 5th studio recording on May 1st at the Northcote Social Club with Argument Soul (Japan) and Melbourne technical metallers, The Ocularis Infernum. Dreadnaught's self titled album, available in stores during the first week of May, represents a return to the thrash metal origins of the band. Mixed by Reggie Bowman at Screamlouder Productions in Melbourne and mastered at MasterDisc in New York the LP features the bands heaviest production to date. Japanese thrash metal band, Argument Soul, will be supporting Dreadnaught at the Melbourne launch of the CD as a part of their whirlwind Australian tour during May. Argument Soul are one of the ha
