Without exception this place makes the finest sandwiches this writer has ever had the joy of eating. Located 100m from Oxford Street (turn right at the Grand Pacific Blue Room), it’s not a big café, but it’s mighty sleek looking and the food will distract you from everything else anyway. My personal pick is the Poached Chicken sandwich with Roasted Vegetables, which is served on slices of bread hacked off a giant loaf. Rolled industrial-style into foil for take away, one of these mothers have been known to last me two meals.
