Collaboration is defined as the process where two or more people work together in an intersection of common goals by sharing knowledge, learning, and building consensus.

In the spirit of collaboration, CENTRAL CITY HOSPITALITY HOUSES COMMUNITY ARTS PROGRAM and GALLERY 146 are pleased to invite you to the exhibition entitled MY OTHER HALF.

It seems inevitable that from a collective of artists that commune together frequently, we would witness spontaneous and enlightening results, said Ivan Vera, CAP Program Manager.

Some collaborations were borne from one artist demonstrating the potential of one technique incorporated into a different media and some out of mutual admiration for one anothers work.

After witnessing the potential exemplified in just a few works, Hospitality House decided to further elaborate on the theme by setting the boundaries for the exercise that became this exhibition.

Steve Porter Porterhouse returns to Miami during Winter Music Conference week for its 6th straight year on Saturday, March 27th at intimate clubbing bote B.E.D. DJ/producer Steve Porter first launched his inaugural assault on club denizens with his Porterhouse party at State nightclub back in 2005 " with an eclectic set made up of a combination of Big Room Electro, Techno and Progressive House with Break Beats for build-up that was so electrifying, he left the crowd clamoring for more of his infectious, signature style. About Mix Master Mike

Named as one of the greatest DJs of all time by USA Today, Mix Master Mike got his initial itch for vinyl while growing up in San Francisco listening to his uncle's extensive record collection. Years later, the moment that had the most impact on him was catching Grandmixer DST on stage with Herbie Hancock.

With his new found love for hip-hop and his foray into the art of scratching, Mike got involved in the mobile DJ business. Entering Dj competitions, rocking house parties, weddings and all those other "cutting the chops" type of gigs for expe
