I saw the Angels Reunited last night at South Juniors, Sydney and wasn't expected too much especially after seeing the Footy Show but was BLASTED away by their rockin performance. I was reminded of why I was an Angels fan and why I always saw them live in the 80's.They are one of, if not only, the best live Aussie band to ever go and see - so full of electricity and energy. Doc delivered true to form, except for the running around like he used to (have to account for age) and the Brewster brothers just pumping out those memorable, melodic riffs was just fantastic, to say the least. If you were, are or going to ever be an Angels fan, you've got to go and see this tour. It's not to be missed.

Let me preface this by saying that I have the utmost respect and admiration for songwriters who can write song after song. Those very talented individuals who, while they are sitting on the plane, in the bathroom, or at a dining table, grab a napkin, the roll of toilet paper, the safety guide on the airplane, or whatever may be handy and start frantically writing. While I have had this inspiration once in a while, its not a fluent talent. So my hats are off to you! Walked in the door around 9pm hahahah ... to see Erther play and say hello ... but the lineup had been bumped around and someone was warming up things with a few tracks ... and when I returned to the floor with a drink ... aniki was playing.

Aniki got the shits pretty early on. The decks weren\\\\\\\'t stable and there was a fair amount of skipping, so he was crashing records togther but it didn\\\\\\\'t matter, as it was in keeping with the theme of the night, loud and raw. He finshed rather early I thought by dropping a Motley Cru track (God I think it was \\\\\\\'Kick Start my Heart\\\\\\\') and cranked it to 11 while he packed up ... Some people in the lounge closed the door in disgust and things were underway, truly a fitting way for the night to start ...
