Expect an acoustic set of The Rifles catalogue that has kept fans loyal, devoted from Dean Mumford, XFM's queen of the air waves, Sunta Templeton joins us behind the decks plus support by up and coming live acts. Dean Mumford (The Rifles), Sunta Templeton (XFM) DJ set, The Kush, Give me the Sun, Lunch, The Macanoes London's scenesters, The Rifles have been skirting round the indie mainstream for a while but now appear to have dived right in with the release of their third album Freedom Run. The album is receiving critical acclaim from across the national music press and has even been voted album of the year in some polls.

Everest, and the World's Longest Gig in London. Music4Children has raised enough money to build an orphanage in Dhulikhel, Nepal, and runs free creative workshops for local children in the White Lion, Streatham.

Donations on the night go directly to these causes, and in May 2012 we will reclaim the record for the World's Highest Gig.

ANNA SALLEH - "A FELICIDADE"

Sydney-based singer/guitarist Anna Salleh was first captivated by the beauty of Brazilian music as a child, when she saw the film 'Black Orpheus'. It introduced her to the enchanting world that is bossa nova and much more.

Over the years, Anna's vocals have featured in world/jazz ensembles from Sydney and Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur and the Edinburgh Festival. Most recently she spent three months in Rio de Janeiro performing with local musicians, seeking out the wisdom of bossa nova elders and other teachers, and broadening her repertoire to include other styles of Brazilian music.

Anna's live album 'A Felicidade' includes a gorgeous selection of Brazilian tunes as well as gems from other genres. "This CD pays homage to music that has communicated an essence to me - of joy, of sorrow, or something less tangible - but no less moving," says Anna.

Harry Manx is a musician who blends blues, folk music, and Hindustani classical music. He was born in the Isle of Man, British Isles, where he spent his childhood, and now lives on Saltspring Island, British Columbia, Canada.

He plays the slide guitar, harmonica, six-string banjo, Mohan veena and Ellis stomp box. He studied for five years in India with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt.

Join Tim and the band as they bring you a show rich in the art of gentle, beautiful songs.

With a live show that is breezy and nostalgic, characterised by skilful instrumental restraint and gentle sailing melodies, Tim Guy will play the Palais this April following the release of his fourth album.

A true drifter, he has roots across Eastern Australia, Papua New Guinea and more recently New Zealand, and will visit scattered venues up the eastern seaboard with his distinctive sound and his band in tow, telling stories through melody, harmony and a craftsman's way with words.

With a collaboration-rich history, Tim's previous albums include 2004's alt-country release Blazey, and 2007's low-fi gem Hummabyes, which were both received to high acclaim on the NZ music scene and featured many prominent guest musicians - notably Bic Runga, who went on to produce Blazey on her own label. The much celebrated radio-friendly album Big World was released in 2010 and accompanied by a multi-city European tour.

an acoustic set from Debunk (http://www.facebook.com/debunkofficial) - formed in 2008, the band quickly started to play gigs and entered the studio to record their first EP "United Dead Nations", working with producers St�phane Buriez (Loudblast, Black Bomb A...) and Ben Rubin (Die On Monday, ex AqME).

The result is a music influenced by Hard Rock bands from the 80's and also by modern acts.
