Paddy Milner Paddy Milner is not only recognised as one of the leading blues piano players in the world, but also as a songwriter whose influences are as numerous as the number of notes he is capable of playing. His new album, recorded in Paris and London, promises to continue building his reputation as one of the finest and most exciting players around and also develop an ever wider fanbase.

Having learnt his craft touring with visiting American blues artists, and the best of British since the age of 13, Milner burst onto the scene in 2000 at the age of 19 with his debut album, '21st Century Boogie'. The album rapidly garnered international accolades within the blues world and beyond, showcased his knowledge and respect for the blues tradition while introducing his originality. Through his contribution to a BBC Radio 2 session, Milner was nominated for a Sony Award.

Music4Children has raised enough money to build an orphanage in Dhulikhel, Nepal, and runs free creative workshops for local children in the White Lion, Streatham

Donations on the night go directly to these causes, and in May 2012 we will reclaim the record for the World's Highest Gig.

Bring your own frying pan and we'll provide the pancakes

The race will be run along Dray Walk at The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane and all you have to do is toss the pancake a couple of times en route

The heats will start at 12.30pm followed by the finals and the prize giving

The winners will receive a beautifully engraved - you've guessed it - frying pan! The best dressed team will also receive a prize

And there will be prizes for the runners up and the best behaved team.
