In a market oversaturated with uniformity, originality is very much a rarity. Caught somewhere between the likes of Sage Francis and Anti-Pop Consortium with a Dub/Dancehall sensibility, American-born Australian resident Elf Tranzporter occupies a unique niche all of his own. Contributing to the global Hip Hop scene for over a decade as part of several crews including MetaBass 'n' Breath (as a founding member) and most recently with Combat Wombat, the genre-bending MC now unleashes his solo debut, Ethereal Lotus Fleet.

Shortly due to drop his new album 'Prototype' (produced by Stephen Marley), the man's been on a red-hot streak recording with everyone from Damian Marley, Buju Banton, Lady Saw, Stephen Marley, Beenie Man, Mos Def, Wyclef and Sean Paul and starring in a lead role in Jamaican gangster flick 'SHOTTAS' (Sony), along side Kymani Marley. With a fifteen year career under his belt, come witness the BENZ mash it up in a true fierce Jamaican dancehall style!

Love Is Wicked is the debut release of two Jamaican sisters (Nyanda and Nailah Thorbourne) who form Brick & Lace. It follows in the footsteps of recent hybrid efforts combining Dancehall/Reggaeton/RnB/Hip Hop (a la Rihanna, Che'nelle, etc) and is packed full of party pumping beats.

Filipino-born R & B sensation Santalina has teamed up Jamaican-born dancehall singer K.C Jockey to record a single, 'Shake' that is getting major buzz in the United States, and was added to the playlists of 250 radio stations on Monday of this week.

"We're getting a phenomenal response from people so far. I have an email list of over 1000 DJs, and most responded to me when they heard this single. We're getting a lot of love in the clubs, plus I am a member of a group called 'Lord Gang' which is a collection music industry professionals, writers, producers, deejays. There are 250 deejays in the group, once a week, they send one song, and everyone adds it to the playlist, Santalina is the first one to be used in this project, they're breaking her in, and it's working," Rob Schw

Hello. I thought I'd let you know about the album I have coming out. It's called Belief is the Enemy. It's out on 27th June on a Japanese label called Elektrik Dragon, distributed by Baked Goods. It's a two disc set: the album comes with a mix CD, called Believe in Dub. Catalogue number is ELEKD-02. It's a proper album. There's a load of different flavours: pounding hard techno-y gear, sweet soft dubstep rollers, dubby garage, bashy stuff, grinding industrial riddims. And a bunch of tracks with Rubi Dan, the MC from Heatwave, the famous London dancehall crew. He's a BAD MC.
