Join us this coming Thursday 9 July as we launch our new monthly night at 202 Broadway.

We have some really cool things lined up throughout the year for our new Thursday nights, including locals from all crews and styles, alongside some awesome guests, both national and international, covering the BASS-heavy styles of Dubstep, Bashment, Reggae, Dub and of course Drum n Bass.

To launch the night, we thought we should celebrate with all the crews that work so hard in Sydney town and have a night of Drum n Bass representing ALL CREWS over two rooms, for only $5.

The general theme of these nights will always be to incorporate ALL crews, as well as those DJs that are not a part of a crew, creating a platform of diversity and opportunity for more of our local talent to play out.

We are damn excited about launching this night, and will have some cool drink specials and giveaways on the night.

Like many American musical stories, the tale of FANIA Records comes from the boroughs and inner city barrios of 1970s New York City. Jungle don from Mix and Blen Recordings Kenny Ken will set the tempo, and bring the vibe. Supported by locals ALF & Ozi Battla (The Herd), Dave Edwards (BassCode), El Gusto (Hermitude), Foreigndub, Basslines (FBI), Dj Ability, JP, Highly Dubious, Dojo Cuts Soundsystem, Firehouse & Polaris. As the tradition goes, a free tasty gourmet BBQ will cater for the early birds (7pm-9pm) on the balcony. Two areas of music will be utilized. From 1998 to about 2005 Walkingstick was a very common name to see on a flyer in the Pittsburgh/Cleveland region. He was known for his oldskool, sample heavy, jungle style, often mixing in hip hop or various tracks from around the globe, anything to make it fun for the audience. He was also one of the founders of Total Xperience Productions, known for throwing memorable events such as NO DOZE, HUMBLE, ICEBURGH, GIFTED, HOMEGROWN and many more.
