| | news | News Item | Uber Lingua is proud to announce it's launching as a record label... The first cab off the rank will be the new album from Barcelona based FILASTINE. Launching in early December DIRTY BOMB follows the highly praised BURN IT release of 2006. UL is co-releasing this new album in collaboration with DJ/Rupture's Soot records in the UK and Post World Industries in the US. More on this shortly. FILASTINE and his companion in electro-sonic culture jamming MAGA BO will be touring Australia in late Dec 08 and Jan 09. Should be crazy. Also touring during this time are North African born, Istanbul based French musicians DU OUD. This psychedelic rock meets traditional middle eastern meets electronica duo are prolific movers in the global and French music scenes. All three of these acts are out to play Uber Lingua's FESTIVAL FIRST NIGHT event as part of the Sydney Festival 2009. Info on their Melbourne dates will be announced by us shortly.
