TESTUBE releases free testube
News Item
After a long hiatus, Jeff Danos aka TESTUBE returns from the outer limits of electro with the Covert EP, an intriguing approach at vocal-driven "experimental pop". Intermittently composting gritty abstract rhythms and industrial glitch sampling into a slightly more accessible framework of dark electro-pop, the Covert EP shows the act moving into a new direction for 2008 and serves as an appropriate teaser for the upcoming TESTUBE full length tentatively titled Off Purpose. The 5-track EP is available as a FREE high quality (320kbps) download with artwork, and includes four new songs and a thumping club-friendly "treatment" remix for the dancefloor. This is the first release from TESTUBE on the newly formed GLIM RECORDS - an atypical promotion machine co-created by Jeff Danos and Jonathan Chalker (LOWHERO.DLL). The FREE download is available here: http://testube.com/covert In addition to the free digital EP, an extended 10-track EP is available for purchase, and includes stunning remixes from R010R, Digital
