Kicking off the year we have 2 of North America's finest laying down the beats: DVS1 & Bill Patrick DVS1, Bill Patrick, Rubin, Rupes, Nic Baird A huge shout to everyone who came down to see Marcel Fengler tear up Basing House for our December party - by far the best event we've ever done.

DVS1's meteoric rise over the past few years has been nothing short of astonishing. The shift from local hero DJ/producer/promoter in the US mid-west to solo releases on Ben Klock's Klockworks imprint and extended sets at Berghain is quite a transition, but one that is richly deserved.

Tequillia fuelled Tex Mex and Americana. Los Pacaminos, Paul Young While the name may mean little (as yet) to music lovers, at least one member of this highly respected group will be very familiar. The Tex-Mex outfit is led by one of the UK's finest and best loved vocalists - Paul Young. Paul is not the only luminary in the seven piece band, however. Some of the best musicians in the business have teamed up to present the incendiary mix of Tex-Mex classics, Spanish songs and original material that make up the music of Los Pacaminos.

Absu + Impiety American esoteric black metal band with a sound informed both by thrash and death metal. Absu, Impiety American esoteric black metal band with a sound informed both by thrash and death metal. Formed in Plano, Texas in 1989, the band's name was originally Dolmen but this was soon changed to Absu, drawing thematic influence from middle-eastern and celtic mythology they recorded four albums and an EP from 1993 to 2001. After the release of Tara in 2001 the band was put on hiatus as guitarist and bassist Equitant Ifernain and Shaftiel departed, citing musical differences and disinterest in the band, respectively.

The Shirt Tail Stompers are heavily influenced by the great American band leaders and musicians of the 20s, 30s and 40s and are on a mission to bring swing music back into the mainstream with their own suave and raucous stamp. Shirt Tail Stompers Now one of the UK's best exports onto the International Swing Scene and one of London's top vintage bands, The Shirt Tail Stompers have quickly made a name for themselves after making their debut in April 2010 at the London Lindy Exchange.

After a whirlwind year of playing numerous festivals including Lindy Shock in Budapest, Smokey Feet in Amsterdam, playing shows in France, Belgium, Ireland, Germany, Italy and throughout the UK, even collaborating with Musicians from New York for the London Swing Festival.
