ARTISTS

The 2008 Whitmore Square Arts Fair (WSAF 2008) will feature the work of over 40 South Australian artists. The different mediums on sale include visual art, ceramics, jewellery, indigenous art, photography, cards, sculpture, clothing, toys, and textile arts. The Fair has a great reputation as a 'live' arts event, with the majority of participating artists creating work on-site.

Dr. Sketchy's is what happens when cabaret meets art school. Dr. Sketchy's is the little Brooklyn event that became a movement. Founded in 2005 by artist Molly Crabapple, Dr. Sketchy's asked a simple question. Why can't drawing naked people be sexy?

We comb Brisbane to find the most beautiful burlesque dancers, delicious fetish models, spunkiest Rollergirls, and the the most rippling hunks of man. Then we let you draw them for three hours. Musica finds a new Equilibrium... Duoteque (Andrea Fearlin, ITALY), Kriece (WA), Ben Morris, Cool Hand Luke, Mo'funk, Simon Caldwell, Alex Taylor, Shawn Christopher (NYC), Jools Musica's absence through winter has left things a little... unbalanced. But with our return, comes a new equilibrium. On Sunday October 1, Musica is relaunching at the Equilibrium Hotel, under World Square in the CBD.
