Di Arty is a DJ and artist from Novosibirsk. He's known for his hard techno addiction, and IDM-inspired production. This release reflects his 'harder' side, and, as you can hear, every track has an experimetal touch, which makes RTSW8 a bit special. Ok, here we go!

First track - a tempting massive one with rude vocal cuts and distorted bass drum - a classic burner! Play it on a big party and be sure - you'll get massive response! I've been writing this album for 2 years - from 2007 to august 2009. different ideas of the sound of the type were born in my mind during this time so now it's difficult to say if it helped this album to sound complete or not. Also it's hard to name the style of the album - it could be electronic, IDM or techno mixed with the orchestral instruments (the second part of album is full of monotonous rhythms mixed with melodic pictures of orchestral instruments) it's not so easy to speak about these records... I've just wanted to make music.

Evgeny Grinko aka is best known for his work as a drummer for several Moscow-based underground bands, namely Magical Unicellular Music, Monroe's Pills, and WOGULOW TAROUTZ VERMO.

Part of the new breed of talented producers, Shlohmo has emerged as not just another copiest of wonky, post-Dilla, FlyLo beat science, the 19 year old LA native initially gave his Shlomoshun EP away free on the internet. Re-released here combining new and old tracks, and a couple of remixes from friends for good measure, giving us a compilation digital release Shlomoshun Deluxe on the Friends Of Friends label. Shlohmo, aka Henry Laufer places his sound somewhere between IDM/electronica, hip hop and emerging bass heavy experiments, the difference here is the lush complex sound blanket is produced by relatively lo-fi, fragile old equipment. In Henrys own words: The album was made suuuper lo-fi, most recordings were done through the audio-in port on my laptop, field recordings with the laptop mic or my iPod mic/recorder, a lot of synth sounds came from my Roland SH201 and my Dads old Roland Jupiter 6, plugged straight into my laptop. Highpoint Lowlife consistently surprise, never sticking to one style, and never ever serving up formulaic music, which brings us to the new EP release for 10-20. Lodged firmly somewhere between electronic, dubstep, dub techno and IDM, 10-20 take us to other worlds. Overloamd oozes a claustrophobic ambience as the machines click and stagger, Endzone skews off kilter, turning in on itself until it emerges off kilter again. The place names of Eastern Europe are enough to conjure conflicting images of the vastness of nature and the decay of functional modernist industry. i/Dex is the artist Vitaly Harmash and he comes from Novopolotsk, Belarussia. No doubt a lot of it comes down to the stereotypes I was fed as a child while the Cold War was still active, but i/Dex’ music seems to match the sthetic I would attach to such places I have never seen quite beautifully. Layers is slightly deceiving as a title – this music is not dense as the name might suggest, but there is certainly a sense of depth present. The 50 minutes of music present an ever shifting sound world of quiet drones and non-sequitar electronic bleeps with the artefacts of digital processing making their way to the surface regularly. The low end hums give me a sense of the industrial, always present and underpinning but never seeking to draw attention to themselves.
