Electundra 2008 presents high quality live audio-visual performances at Loop over three successive Sunday nights. Dates are November 23, November 30 and December 7, 2008, 5pm to midnight. The festival is an inspired cross section of vanguard sounds and moving images: manipulated pure noise, visual mash ups, post-rock thrash, raw digital minimalism, flip-cut psychedelia, feral technologies, tongue-in-cheek cheese electronica, swamp jazz, ambient click dub and pseudo documentary are just some of the genres thrown into the blend.

When it comes to making beats, The Bug is as prolific as he is diverse. He runs his own Pathological Records imprint; he's has collaborated with the likes of El-P, Kevin Shields, Antipop Consortium, Ricky Ranking (Roots Manuva), Flowdan, Spaceape and Killa P; he's recorded for labels ranging from Rephlex and Hyperdub to Virgin and City Slang; and he's been asked for remixes by Thom Yorke, Grace Jones and Primal Scream.

Steeped in the boombastic rhythms of mirky dubstep, toxic raga and filthy grime, his intense and addictive beats reach past narrow categorisation and bring together influences from dancehall, grime and hip-hop onslaughts.

Since their introduction through Wayne Lonesome on the Razor X Productions project, Warrior Queen plays a vital part of The Bug's live show and features on his latest Ninja Tune releases. From Kingston, Jamaica, Warrior Queen has also worked with Penthouse Music in Jamaica and UK garage producer Sunship aka Ceri Evans.

Four Tet (Kieran Hebden) makes machine-based music with acoustic warmth as evidenced by his remixes of Beth Orton and Radiohead. Drawing on jazz, soul and folk and pitching it against intricate, funky rhythms he's created a new genre of music. Kieran Hebden's Four Tet project balances organic and programmed sounds.

Live, he improvises in real-time, drawing on and feeding back the energy of his audience.

Lowfish

Lowfish is perhaps one of Canada's most prominent electro producers. His clinical production style is both very "new school" and built on the DNA of early new wave and IDM. Sometimes dark, often melodic and catchy - Lowfish tracks always strive for timelessness and quality while trying hard to steer clear of fashion and flavour of the month technology. The weapons of choice are what
