Aniki got the shits pretty early on. The decks weren\\\\\\\'t stable and there was a fair amount of skipping, so he was crashing records togther but it didn\\\\\\\'t matter, as it was in keeping with the theme of the night, loud and raw. He finshed rather early I thought by dropping a Motley Cru track (God I think it was \\\\\\\'Kick Start my Heart\\\\\\\') and cranked it to 11 while he packed up ... Some people in the lounge closed the door in disgust and things were underway, truly a fitting way for the night to start ...

The levels of cadmium in a small section of the Xiangjiang River in Central China Province of Hunan are still above safety levels after a spill last week, a senior provincial official said yesterday.

The levels were "one or two times" higher than the national standard in the Wangcheng section of the river in a suburban county of provincial capital Changsha, Jiang Yimin, provincial environmental head, told China Daily.

They've been around for a number of years. Numerous placements on TV, film, commercials as well satellite radio and more. No strangers to the NHL's Dallas Stars, who commissioned the band for their power play song. But for those who's radar managed to miss the industrial metal band RivetHead, their latest full-length effort, Doomsday for Optimism is not a bad place to start. The album doesn't open as strong as I would've preferred. "Super Zero" is a solid track but doesn't have that wow factor the band is known for. "Deaf Ears", the second song, would've made a much better choice in my opinion. There are more things going on in that one to keep the listener tapped in. RH fans will notice their current sound having more of that electronic industrial leaning heard on Zero Gravity's title track from 2009.
