The band, consisting of members from Chilean, Spanish, Indian, Mauritian, Persian, Irish, Greek and Australian backgrounds, dish up the kind of cross cultural funk that's seen their fanbase swell since their inception four years ago. Indeed, for San Lazaro, music is driven by passion, not genre bias, with the collective embracing everything from hip hop, rock and reggae, all infused with the band's trademark Latin flava.
