BLACKSBURG, Va. - The family of Virginia Tech gunman Seung-Hui Cho told The Associated Press on Friday that they feel "hopeless, helpless and lost," and "never could have envisioned that he was capable of so much violence." The connection with the Pres Hall apparently began in the Spring of 2009 when Jim James of My Morning Jacket was invited to sing with Preservation Hall. James recorded two songs with the band, St. James Infirmary and Louisiana Fairytale. The tracks will appear on the bands forthcoming album, PRESERVATION: An Album To Benefit Preservation Hall & The Preservation Hall Music Outreach Program, out February 16th.
