The 20 Most Awesome SciFi TV Theme Songs digg / music

Neal Hefti, the jazzy trumpeter behind such TV theme songs as the propulsive ditty that introduced the 1960s Batman series, has passed away. His composition"with its singular staccato lyric, itself a paean to Adam Wests be-spandexed superhero"may have been intentionally campy, but its proven both indelible and award-winning. Ok. I was slightly confused when I saw the trailer for this last night on SciFi.

I didn't think it had anything to do with 'dark forces' but in the trailer they show demons, ect.

But on IMDB there's no mention. And of course, in the game there's no mention.

Regardless, looks good. I like Markey...

Scientology's Party Boat Docked Due to Asbestos [Sail Away] Gawker
Syndicated
Hey, remember where Tom Cruise held his birthday party? Jog your memory with Gawker's EXCLUSIVE VIDEO of the embarrassing 2004 celebration. That's right: on the MV Freewinds, the massive "cruise ship" training center for the highest level members of the Church of Scientology. Bad news for aspiring OT VIIIs: the ship's been sealed and docked in Curacao due to the discovery of "significant amounts of blue asbestos" all over her. Blue asbestos is the insulating material that's been banned in the US for years because of all the lung cancer it causes. And, obviously, the 40-year-old cruise ship has been contaminated with it since day one—putting the lives of nearly all OT VIII Scientologists at risk! According to a CNN I-Report: "An affidavit filed in 2001 by Lawrence Woodcraft, a former Scientologist and trained architect, claims that Woodcraft encountered the fibrous minerals while working on the ship in 1987, and promptly informed Scientology leaders." And they didn't do anything about it for 20 years. So

Luna City are back. Three years since the fulminate start of the Berlin situated DJ and producer duo, now, after a short break, the new EP "Seven" follows on Moon Harbour. In the meantime Norman Webber and Marco Resmann have in no way been dormant. Besides countless international DJ-gigs, they published two EPs on the Spanish labels Aerobic Studio and Justified Cause in 2007. Despite the great demand Luna City Express remain however true to their port of registry Moon Harbour. Following the hit songs Fresh, White Russian and the Crazy Planet EP the two new tracks confess a new aspect of the duo. Seven (A1) stays surprisingly reduced. The typical deep until whimsical house sound from Luna City Express builds up only little by little. Various vocal samples, a funk bass here and an interspersed Scifi-element there, more the both do not need. Suki Zuki (A2) in turn is a live recording of a successful jam session after a gig in Japan. The beat goes unflinching; in the background two Japanese friends a
