Swampy rockers, SixFtHick perform a Melbourne send off show before hitting Europe. SixFtHick, Australias biggest anomaly, a 13-year-old band who despite playing over 700 shows, performing over 60 east coast Australian tours, touring Europe and Japan, has so far evaded the mainstreams attention. Their performance will be filmed for a documentary, Seminal Urges, which follows SixFtHick across Europe. The doco will be air on JTV in 2009. Adding even more fat to the bill is ROOT! LIVINGSTON: After winning the UK Carling Battle of the Bands in 2005, Livingston made their recording rebut in Abbey Road Studios and live at MTV Studios. They played festivals across Europe, making stops in Greece, Germany, and Ireland, before playing at Scarborough Beach Festival (both 2005 and 2006) in front of 10,000 people. John Waters, whose son ivan is in the play, said that in all his years acting he'd never seen anything quite like it, neither musical nor play, but more like Berlin cabaret with contemporary aussie humour and entertaining music.
