Tammy Ingram Launches "Modern Love" & East Coast Tour Tammy Ingram Tammy Ingram

Announcing the release of her debut EP 'Modern Love' & East Coast Tour dates

"Where Is Modern Love?"

Take some PJ Harvey, Joan as Policewoman, Beth Orton and the Black Keys, arm it with a '78 Gibson Les Paul and occasional loop pedal - and you're starting to get the Tammy Ingram picture. Tammy takes the classic singer/songwriter sound and rubs its face in the dirt.

Tammy's four track debut EP 'Modern Love' treks the borders of alternative music through Indie Folk 'n' Roll, rock grit and lavish pop. It's this 'thrust through' chemistry that has Tammy quickly establishing herself as one of Australia's favourite female artists.

The EP foundations were laid in the jungles of Belize, a tiny Central American country south of Mexico. It was here that the seeds were planted for 'Song For New York', before the track was fleshed in the same city that lends its name to the song.

Since forming in Paris in 2002, Dimi Dero Inc have been producing their own brand of evocative swamp rock. They teamed up with The Drones in March 2007 to tour Australia. This March sees them coming back to collect more souls during another kaleidoscopic sonic adventure down under.

Dimi Dero Inc are the dirty love child of Scientists, The Gun Club, Rowland S Howard, and The Birthday Party, whose dark and dangerous, swamp-infused voodoo rock'n'roll rhythms produce an upper cut to your cerebral chord.

Dimi Dero Inc's pedigree is impressive and their connections with Australia run deep with various members collaborating over the years with, Hugo Race (Bad Seeds, Wreckery), Noah Taylor, Loene Carmen (Syd), Warren Ellis (Dirty Three, Grin

Debut Single 'Blind' Out Now + Tour Dates Announced

"[The Villain's 'Bottle Of Whiskey' is] an awesome, bluesy, gritty track!!! The description 'sounds like Tool & John Butler' got my curiosity, which it seems was well deserved. An absolutely cranking tune!"

Sarah Howells - triple j Roots 'N All Presenter

'Blind', the debut single from Byron Bay three-piece The Villain is out now, and to celebrate their hitting the road, including a support for The Fumes @ the Great Northern.

The Band:

Based on the North Coast of NSW, The Villain describe themselves - without any degree of exactitude - as Roots Rock. Front-man and conductor Dan Best has directed the band's kaleidoscopic evolution to its present day incarnation. 'Unstable' is a fitting description of The Villain's sound - but live shows are held together seamlessly by drummer Byron Goodwin & bassist Sam Lansten.

Formed in 2006, The Villain have been a regular feature on
