I just arrived today on this site seeking fellow musos to rock out with in my band Old MenWith Retrievers the name coming from seeing so many old men andtheir dogs wanderign around Moonee Ponds where I used to hang out sometimes fuck knows why....I'd meet people there and stuff but it's all a blur...I live in St Kilda it's boring and depressing with everythign so expensive I have no social life!Thus I am a muso and comic. Though the comedy leaves me a bit bitter at times...Ibelieve music has savedmy life I stand by that. As so many do. I brought a guitar which I can play not greatly but enough to produce something of a song...A rough grungy punk deidcation to the creepy guys who try to pick meup on the 96 called 'I'm over it' I love it. Cryout From The Cherokee Nation is Recordings from Cryouts solo act. Cryout uses electronic drumms and plays guitar when he dose a solo show. The sound has that same punch as if the whole Cryout family and friends band is playng in front of you. Cryout most of the time records these shows to mayby add new sounds or beats to the songs. NextAid is a Los Angeles-based humanitarian organization rooted in the dance music community, whose mission is to promote community-driven environmentally, economically and socially empowering responses to the AIDS orphan pandemic. In celebration of the 20th annual World AIDS Day (Dec. 1), NextAid is uniting the North American dance communities from coast to coast!

NextAid is coordinating a national campaign of 18+ events in 14+ cities across the nation! Proceeds from all participating events will be used to complete construction of a home for children orphaned by AIDS in the NextAid/Youth With A Vision Community center and Children's Residential Village in Dennilton, South Africa.

Deep 1 EP kicks off with DJ Hi-Shock Remix, and as you would expect, Hi-Shock blatantly feels right at home remixing a track with such atmosphere. The track starts by building on the atmosphere created in the original with more useful reverb and effective panning, opening the stereo field. Movement is created with kick drum pattern variations before the introduction of the Hi-Shock trademark arrpegiated bass line that really takes this track up a notch or two. Perfect for the transition into putting the dancefloor to work.

Deep 1 Original Mix is s a sound scape of phasing percussion and delayed warm pads layered on top of a kick and hi hat combination that keeps this deep little number chugging along. A nice use of reverb really creates the space desired here in a track that would not be out of place on a Code Red Compilation back in the day.
