Of all the Playboy Mansion Parties I’ve attended, my favorite is the Kandy Masquerade.

I pretend that I am in 18th century France, that I am a lord, and that the women are all there for my taking. The ambience and dcor at the Playboy Mansion whisks me to that forbidden place where romance and sexual daring are the epitome of pleasure.

Secrecy and mystique is of utmost importance, therefore all those attending the masquerade are required to wear elaborate masks. The men wear dark attire and the women, of course, wear sexy lingerie. The game is on as I wonder what lies beneath those alluring masks that crown the most glorious of bodies. The eyes may flash at me, or they may tease me, but the face beneath stays hidden.

Amongst the other masqueraders are celebrities and professional athletes. The masked women are Playmates, Playboy Bunnies, and hand picked ladies whose beauty and bodies allow them free entrance. The spirits flow freely,

This is an "art piece," a bit of art noir...it's a song about a woman who is insane and is ready to end her life on earth. She knows many people, but has no real friends, although she thinks of all her acquaintances as close friends and kindred spirits who "get" her. They aren't, and they don't. She chooses, at random, one of her acquaintances to accompany her on her journey to heaven and comforts her "close friend" by explaining that the trade off for the bad "being dead" part is counter weighed by the fact that she will live on in infamy forever amongst the living! The percussion is intentionally contrasted against the piano to give an intense, irritating feel to the piece, and almost ticks like a clock, representing their time left on this planet; there is an inordinate amount of reverb on the song which I intended to represent eternity and give the song an ethereal quality. Although the subject matter of all my original songs is typically very serious, I try to offset the serious nature with hilarious
