Alzheimer's the Musical - A night to remember!

Written by Maureen Sherlock.

Starring Lyn Shakespeare, Maureen Sherlock & Carole Yelland.

After a quick nana-nap, the oldest swingers are back in town, hot-to-trot with a riotous night of senior moments and golden oldies. Get jiggy and boogie on down to some Hip-Replacement Hop, enjoy vintage angst with The Leader of the Geriatric Pack and put your lippy on for Grab-a-Granny night! At the Jurassic Park Retirement Village, our motto is 'never say die' and growing old disgracefully is the only way to go! Who says there isn't time to shoot the nude calendar?! Remember, inside every old chook is a spring chicken wondering "What the?!"

"The audience guffawed and cheered Hilarious!" (The Age)

"An exuberant take on growing old! Wipe away tears of laughter!" (Rainbow-Jeparit Argus)

"A hilarious venture into the perils of old age." (Alzheimer's Australia News

"Hilariouscuts Shakespeare to the quick" (The New York Times) PMD Productions presents Tom Stoppard's

Dogg's Hamlet, Cahoot's Macbeth

By special arrangement with Dominie Pty Ltd.

Directed by Paul Knox

With Jennifer Innes

The comma that divides Dogg's Hamlet and Cahoot's Macbeth serves both to separate them and to show their relationship. One could not exist without the other and together they form a piece of theatre that makes a statement greater than the sum of its parts.

Beginning with a language-game from Ludwig Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations, Stoppard discards our familiar English in favour of 'Dogg', a language that is caught more than learned. From there we attack Shakespeare's classic Hamlet with irreverence, language and actors thrown about the stage with reckless abandon.

Cahoot's Macbeth was written as a tribute to Pavel Kohout, banned theatre maker and dissident in 1970s Soviet Czechoslovakia. An early example of Stoppard's life-long advocacy for human rights, Ca

Even at the moment, men are competing to earn respect whenever there is physically demanding work to do.* *Modern strongman sports early pioneers were Jon Pall Sigmarsson, Geoff Gapes, Bill Kazmaier, Jamie Reeves and Magnus Ver Magnusson.* *At the moment there are Champions like Zydrunas Savickas, Mischa Kokylaev, and Travis Ortmayer. A comical autobiography that re-imagines tales of a father at war, Bluey mixes storytelling and stand-up comedy with dexterity. Back By Popular Demand!

Presented by FWAM and Tin Shed Productions in association with The Tamarama Rock Surfers

Bluey is a unique and comical autobiographical performance that re-imagines the absurd, but true stories of Phil s father: a RAF sergeant who served in Iraq in 2003. The show is a poignant and revealing story of family and political conflict, inventively realised and a sons theatrical attempt to make sense of it all with old letters, thrash metal and a monkey puppet called Alfred.
