The West End and Broadway have seen many musicals come and go. Some are runaway successes, others barely see the light of day before they close. Another Opening, Another Show is an evening of hit songs from the musicals that didn't quite make it. Andrew Lloyd Weber may have enjoyed phenomenal success with The Phantom of the Opera but his musical The Beautiful Game was less successful despite claims the show features some of "Lloyd Webber's most haunting ballads."

Join some of Australia's most celebrated music theatre artists on a journey through the decades of the wonderful songs from the forgotten shows. Women of Manhattan is a play about modern women struggling with issues of identity and fulfillment. Women of Manhattan is a play about modern women. Complex, sensitive, successful, loyal, confident and at times neurotic. The three female characters deal with very common and decidedly similar situations each in unique and subjective ways. The script is funny, witty, unexpected and touching.

Our production of Women of Manhattan is timed to cooincide with International Women's Day, a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women in the past, present and future. An exclusive pre-season industry fundraiser on International Women's Day, March 8 will open the season.

The cast is a small select group of very talented actors, directed by Alexandra Juchau. Their talent and commitment to the conceptualisation of the entertaining script by award winning author John Patrick Shanley will be the artistic success of this production.

A very bizarre play starring two giant skeletons as keen surgeons. Two cowering musicians pound out an unknown funeral march, marking the beginning of one of the most surprising and spectacularly imaginative pieces of theatre since the Rocky Horror Show.

Renowned for their sudden-death club skits as The Surgical Sideshow, two of the Sydney underground's strangest have concocted something big.

They call it The Surgical Sideshow Epic.

Put simply, the play is about two ambitious surgeons and their "excommunication" from the "Hallowed Halls of Medicine". Their subsequent journey in search of ultimate revenge upon everything is spring-loaded with unexpected detours and layers of complexity.

The leads are two mute skeleton creatures supported by a singing devil, a mad pope, sinister robots and some demented hand puppets. They harrow and are harried by an ubiquitous female lead who, with the aforementioned musicians and a couple of Brechtian help-mates, represents the all-too-human component of the show.
