OLDNEWBORROWEDBLUE, the biggest wedding album in the world

Launched last year on the day of the Royal Wedding, oldnewborrowedblue is a varied collection of wedding photos from around the world and across the generations. Older and young people are asked to work together to share their family wedding photos and stories by adding them to this online public gallery.

A selection of these photographs and stories, particularly local contributions spanning from the 1920 to 21st century, will be on displayed in the Rich Mix lower caf� gallery area from the 8th February - 19th February.

This exhibition has been brought to you in partnership with Rich Mix, Magic Me and The Photographers' Gallery is part of the Snapshots Festival 'Valentine's: An East End Love Affair'.

In Mahala Rai Banda ex-military brass players meet urban Gypsy musicians to create an explosive fusion of Balkan rhythms and lightening-fast melodies, that takes you straight into a Romanian wedding. Mahala Rai Banda, Trans-Siberian March Band Their music is known the world over as the basis for the classic Shantel club remix of their track Mahalageasca, featured all over Borat (and you should hear them play the remix - live!); in 2007 they played the Barbican Centre with Eugene Hutz of Gogol Bordello as part of 1000 Year Journey festival, and in 2009 the Royal Festival Hall in the Gypsy Queens and Kings show (what a party).

They are the mighty Mahala Rai Banda, a combination of Gypsy accordion and fiddle in the tradition of Johnny Depp favourites Taraf de Haidouks, and ex-Romanian military brass blowers (and boy they can blow) in the line of Fanfare Ciocarlia, recently in London with the Balkan Brass Battle.
