Celebrating the birthday of Totally Ardcore joint promoter Craig O'Brien we bring you our biggest line up to date!

In true Totally 'Ardcore style we shall once again be putting on a themed event, and this time we are asking you to join us for a 'Mad Hatter's Tea Party'. We are inviting you each to wear you craziest, wackiest hats for the night, and as always they will be a prize for the one judged the best! There will also be free noisemakers for those who purchase advance tickets, and vodka jellys for those who get to the venue early.

If you were ever lucky enough to attend one of the 3D World's Greatest Shave events in the past you know the fun that is to occur...if not WELLLLLLL strap in and get your dance moves ready!! We are gonna rock the joint in true Kinkiraver style.

For those who didn't have the pleasure of experiencing who Chloe "Kinkiraver" Le Tran was she was a bright shining pocket rocket who danced her little bird flipping butt on every dance floor for many a track, for many a year...she was always the host of the 3D World's Greatest Shave because of her childhood victory over Leukaemia. Unfortunately in 2011, she found out her battle was to begin again and in January this year she left us to teach the angels to "ACTUALLY" do the Melbourne Shuffle. And in her honour we WILL SHAVE and we WILL RAVE!

We have some of your favourite DJ's from the Melbourne Dance Scene....AND a special guest who will be gracing the decks of the hallowed halls of CBD Nightclub...

Your $10 door charge will be donated to the Leukeamia Foundation (and any extra you want to chuck in...)

Shavers are gathering in the Shave Rave Salon from 11pm. We have two lovely ladies and quiet a few gents registered already and more to come.

FULL TIME MACHINE PROGRAM

CLIQUES is the collaborative project of Sydney-based producers 48/4 and Hensen. Both producers have been fixtures of Sydney’s electronic music scene for several years, with both producing a steady stream of material, initiating the 104 Collective, and Henson being one third of Seekae. This duo make complex primitive music which is crunchy yet airy, and spacious yet claustrophobic – resulting in a unique style of dance music drawing on the full spectrum of UK bass and club music, augmented with touches of trap, and laced with elegant arpeggios. In 2012 they have already received massive support from London’s Rinse FM and tastemaker Oneman, recorded their debut release.

FOUR DOOR is the collaboration of members of Holy Balm and Naked on the Vague. Together they create a smoky four to the floor sleaze machine. Ghostly voices and disembodied sax float in an ether of heinous riffs and stark percussion. Utilising the analogue technology of dancefloors past, Four Door create a haunted beatscape guaranteed to induce head nods and sultry dancing. Formerly performing as Hochman & Hopkins, this pair create a woozy smudge of pan-genre dance music.

TUFF SHERM Who is Tuff Sherm? One of Sydney’s finest goes incognito to bring his signature sounds to the dance floor. We don’t know what he’ll be doing or playing, because he’s an enigma; and that’s the nature of precocious talent. It could be two step/ techno/ garage/ grime/ house/ trap/ miami bass/ boom bap all mixed up into a slightly unsettling brain explosion. Come along and witness this walking mystery thread the needle, and find out the true meaning of Tuff Sherm.

TYSON KOH’S career in music is pretty weird. He started DJing out in public regularly when he co-founded the now defunct Thursday club night Health Club. Since then his vast and varied music know-how has had him DJ at almost every venue Sydney has to offer as well the ones Sydney doesn’t, by way of various illegal outdoor and warehouse parties. Even though he can’t play an instrument to save himself Mr. Koh has wound up programming music for events ranging from Sydney Festival to the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Tyson has held down radio shows on community stations like FBi and 2SER for the last four years and currently works as a producer on the ABC’s iconic music video program rage.

COSTUME CONTEST

Those of you who come to Bass Control dressed in the most outrageous and clever costumes will have the chance to win an amazing prize. On entry to the venue, all people in outrageous and clever costumes will be presented with a special pass that allows them access to the official costume photo booth area. Here you will be treated like a movie star and have your photo taken in front of a press wall. Later in the night, official Bass Control judges will examine the photos of the best-costumed festival-goers.

Winners will be chosen and rewarded with merchandise vouchers, free passes to future events, VIP passes and the grand prize will include an annual pass to all Powerhouse Productions events. All the photos will be shown on the big screen in the main room throughout the night in front of thousands of people.

At the end of the night, the winner of the competition will be presented with the grand prize on the main stage in front of the whole event. This is your chance to show us your most creative side, and contribute to the show! Photos of the costumed contest winners will be posted online, so make sure you come dressed for success.

We can't wait to see all of you at Bass Control this year, and are unbelievably excited to see how your costumes and outfits turn out.
